Help Client Turn Underpreforming Store to the Most Profitable

A franchise convenience store located in the City of London was forced to vacate the property due to re-development works. The store was the worst performing store in the portfolio because of its off-pitch location with poor footfall. The Head Franchisee came to me for advice and I recommended a number of potential new sites for the shop. I also produced a schedule of the total property cost for each site for this client.

The client opted for a site which was outside of their budget. Using my rating knowledge, I identified that the rates liabilities of this site were incorrect and I was able to revise the rates liability figures accordingly. This in turn allowed the client to acquire the site that they preferred without exceeding their budget.  The store benefits from high footfall and is now one of the highest performing stores in the portfolio.
